In relation to success, the dynamics would then mean the forces at work to ensure the attainment of success. Expanding this a little further, we can identify forces here as powers, strengths, energies, influences and drives.
To more easily understand the word success, we can think in terms of words like achievement, victory, triumph, realization and attainment, especially of set goals and objectives or dreams and aspirations.
To therefore, simplify the topic statement, the dynamics of success, we can say the drivers of success, the strengths that produce the result we want, the forces or powers that ensured that we made it to our desired goal or destination.
There are four critical dynamics of success which I have learned in the course of my life. These are:
- Choice
- Self-image
- Attitude, and
- Elimination of failure and increment of success through.
Choice is one thing we can make by ourselves. Coming from where I started and being where I am today and reflecting on my journey so far, I have come to the understanding that wherever we are in life today is a matter of choice. Where we would be tomorrow is also a matter of choice. Sometimes, the choice is failure to choose.
SELF-IMAGE
We are all typically salesmen and women. Whatever we want - be it fame, money, good name, beauty, happiness and peace - are in the hands of some other person. Even happiness which is supposed to happen without reason or outside influence has so much to do with those we are with. How well we sell ourselves to be able to get what we want is influenced by our self-image. What we think and feel about ourselves is it positive or negative? Does who we see ourselves as now propel or derail or stunt our desire to move forward? What we feel about ourselves is so critical to success in life that we cannot ignore it and hope to succeed.
ATTITUDE
The way I understand it, attitude to life generally and not your education, money or circumstance would determine your level of success or failure in life. This can be extended to your attitude to different subjects, issues and situations of life as the definer of the level of success you would achieve in those subjects, issues and situations in life. Think about the general fear or hatred for mathematics and how only very few succeed at it in relation to other subjects in school. The rate of failure in mathematics is influenced by the rate of those who are afraid or nurse hatred for the subject.
ELIMINATING FAILURE AND INCREASING SUCCESS
Failure is the opposite of success. It therefore means that for us to move to the other side of the matrix where success is, we need to deliberately shorten the length of our failure. Note that nothing in life would remove failure. Failure most times is the ladder to success. But failures are brought about mostly by our habits, character, values and goals or the lack thereof.
This means that if we should improve on our habits, character, develop real values and set goals instead of failing to set goals, we would decrease the place of failure in the bar and increase the place of success on the matrix.
Now that you know, what do you think?
